What a difference a night makes. Yesterday’s wind and rain were gone, the sun was out, the fleet left the harbour at 9:30 for an 11:00 hrs start. What looked like a beautiful sailing day soon became a heaven for light wind specialists. And the only question was: Will we finish this race or will the wind abandon us before the finishing line?

We finished it, albeight shortend, just before the Baltic Sea became a mirror surface. And the light wind specialists truely won: Thibault Vandrot and Nadia El Ghozi (FRA), followed by fellow French team Francois Drougou and Caroline Guilloux, who now moved up to third overall. The top of the leaderboard remained unchanged with Cerri / Bertolani and Cabello / Cabello keeping the top two spots.
